The good, bad
and ugly of the 2008 Gubernatorial primary
The Good
60,000 of
you got it and voted for a conservative democrat. Our
opponents outspent us but still a lot of you understood
your duty as conservative democrats. We sent a message.
The second runner up in the democratic primary got more votes
than all the republican candidates combined, the die is cast.
We spent .4 of a cent per vote while our opponents spent $10-12
per vote. We will continue our fight for conservative
leadership.
The Bad
We will
have a democratic governor in 2008 who will set the tone
of the state for the next 8 years. Sad to say this will be
another 8 years of tax and spend and getting little done.
The economy will suffer as gas prices get to $5.00 more than
146,000 citizens of North Carolina will loose their jobs or
businesses. The general assembly and the governor's office will
be controlled by tax and spend liberals as we head toward a
serious economic disaster with no checks and balances in place.
The Ugly
Radio
stations in the triangle, such as WPTF, that would not put all
candidates on or even mention their names. They decided
for us who the real candidates would be and did not let the
pubic make up their own minds. Talk radio stations in the
east and west carried all candidates and brought about fair
coverage. The media more and more decides who will be
elected and we the people must put an end to this if we
are to gain control of our future.
