DOT- An Agency Out of Control

"The greatest failures of the DOT are caused by inaction."--McKinsey

"McKinsey report says DOT is too political, bosses waste time and priority projects are delayed for years"--McKinsey

Read the reviews of this report. here

"Tippett and his top deputies gave few details about how the recommendations would be carried out." Of course  they gave few details about how to fix things because they don't KNOW how to fix them.  Another example of hiring a person who has no other qualifications than he is your friend, this is the "good old boy" network at it's worst.

In a letter from the State Board of Elections Gubernatorial to candidate Richard Moore campaign committee (2000 for state treasurer) is asked to explain an omission of a contribution.  This contribution was from none other than Lyndo Tippett, then a CPA for a private firm in Fayetteville.  Mr. Tippett's $1,000.000 contribution had not been reported.

After Richard Moore was elected Mr. Tippet was appointed to head the DOT (2001).

Do you wonder why the DOT has been reported by an outside agency investigation as, " too political?"

Read my experiences with the DOT, still haven't  heard from them,  Letter to DMV.html

What is the fix for this and other state agencies that are improperly lead? Easy, I will ask all the Directors of the major agencies in the state for their resignations and then decide who should stay and who should go.
