How You and I can win

We together must win this election.  Is North Carolina a great place to live?

Politicians will praise themselves and tell you what a great place NC is to live but that is the wrong question.  It is not how great it is but how great can it be , this is the most important part.

My opponents in this election lack the vision to see how great the state can be.  They can't think out of the box and keep trying the same old tax and spend  methods that haven't worked in the past and won't work now.  YOU know what needs to be done and the average person on the street could do a better job than most politicians.  Many other states are making real improvements and we must look at all of them.  We must take their best ideas and use them here and throw the bad ideas away.

I am an average citizen just like those of you reading this, together we can make a big difference but  first we must get elected.

I will win the election in a landslide if You just do these things:

1.  Vote in the primary election, this is the most important election for governor.
We are not going to have a Republican governor in 2008 so who you elect in the Democratic
Primary will be the next governor.

2.  Vote for the person who is most like You, someone who knows You and knows what is best for
the You, not what is best for the politicians.

3.  Ignore all the political advertising that comes in your mail, is on television and radio and in the
newspapers.  These are campaign lies that are intended to get you to vote for them.   After
the election they don't tell you anything. Have you  ever got a letter from you politician
not in the election season.  No, they just want your attention to get your vote other than that
they don't care about you.  They think you are stupid and will fall for their tricks.  Well no
        more.

4.  Stop voting for the person with the most signs!!  They put signs, illegally I might add, in the
roadway and on public property.  Public property, sides of roads, intersections, on poles, etc.,
is YOUR property not theirs.  Each election season all candidates get a letter telling us that it
violates the laws of North Carolina to put signs in these public places but the politicians ignore
the law, thinking they are above it.  What other laws do they think they can ignore?
My suggestion is to look at these signs and write down the names of those with the most
signs and when you get in the voting booth  don't vote for them, they have no respect for the
law, so why should we respect them?

5.  Stop whining about what is wrong with the state.  Do something!  If you noticed I have not
asked you to vote for me, no I want you to vote for the person who is most like you and will
do the best job to represent you.  If that is me I will gladly accept your vote.  If someone
else is more like you and can represent you better vote for her/him. But get some courage to
stand for something, because if you don't stand for something you stand for nothing.

If you take these five steps You and I will win the election.
